It's just a rant
Just when i thought i can have my wonderful 10-hour sleep, here comes an sms PLUS a phonecall to wake me up.I was initially supposed to go for breakfast with XY, Qing and SY. But it was at an unearthly hour of 9am. How in the world can i wake up at that hour when i would have just slept as a matter of fact. So before i went to bed, i texted Qing telling her that i wouldn't be going for breakfast with them and apologize for it. But little did i thought, she replied me in the morning and that is forgivable. For it's normal to reply at a very late time. Like me. BUT... (Here comes the BIG but, as you can see.) But i don't think she told XY. For XY texted me to sms her if i reached (apparently i didn't see this one until i woke up) and that is one sign that she didn't know i wouldn't be going. The next would be her calling me and was relatively not very happy (read: angry) that i was still sleeping at that time. Okay, now i feel offended. The initial feeling was guilt for i had missed the appointment, but the next was annoyance. I had make a point to text Qing (who was the one who told me about the breakfast) that i wouldn't be going. So i thought she would have at least made a point too to tell XY about it. But i guessed otherwise. But nonetheless, i still missed the breakfast and now, couldn't go back to sleep. And oh yes, despite the rant, i still love them very much. They're my 'family' in Secondary School. So how can i be angry with them for long? |
