Sound Reinforcement

Before i start anything, let me apologize for the lack of pictures lately.

It's either that i was lazy to upload, or i can't take good ones. But in any case, i'm really sorry. :X

See, i'm really remorseful about it

And to prove my point about not being able to take good pictures, see above and below.

It's shaky. Very shaky.

And when i mean shaky, i mean completely shaky.

And when it's finally not so shaky, i look bad. Damn.

Okay, moving on. Let me confirm with the money things first.

Haylie - Exact money
Frez - Owe $2.50 (Sorry ]:)
Surayah + Murni - Exact money. (Murni's cash is with Surayah.)
Guo Hao + GL - Exact money. (GL's cash is with GH.)
Ben - Exact money

YAY!! 7 plus me = 8

Everyone is settled. YAY!!!

Money stuff, done.

But ranting about it is not.

I had to wait for so many people to come slowly to my class to give them money and this, i don't mind. Because the Sound Reinforcement starts at 6pm. Imagine if it starts at 5pm, i would be totally late for it. But since mine is on 6, i don't care too much about it.

What i care was that when people couldn't come or make it, they don't even bother to tell me. They made me (and Haylie with Frez plus MR.Shy Guy) wait in the class for so long for them.

GRRS.

And really sorry GH, i didn't know GL told you to wait at TRCC. That was indeed the initial plan, but then i've decided to change it to my class. Sorry. =/

And i got really irritated with waiting for Ben to give him his money. And it's not like i owed him or something. I literally had enough time to stroll down from EMP room, ordered a drink, finish it, slack inside TRCC cafe (i think it's called Cafe Esplanade or something like that.) before seeing him strolling slowly with tons of his friends there.

And it's not as if this drink is a small one either.

Am i irritated or what?

Oh yes, speaking of irritated. Our faci asked us one thing about the things i hate. And i said, "Irritating people". And he asked what kind of irritating people i hate. And i said, "Errrs, people who are irritating?" What else could i answer anyway? =/

Now let's move on.

I met with Rain/Wayne at the lift along with my neighbours. He totally couldn't recognize me.

"Eh Wayne, what last time no fringe, now got fringe. And hair black black."

What's with the only-can-recognize-me-in-my-geek-look. Start recognizing me in my outside clothes, alright?

Anyway, today's faci was fun. But i destroyed myself because of my presentation. (See previous entry to understand.)

So fast forward. After everything, i went for dinner with JC (who will be known as MR.Shy Guy in this entry and with the friends around me.)

And honestly, he wasn't shy at all. We could chat from my class to dinner to after my Sound Reinforcement to CWP.

Not only that, he's not a very nice and encouraging soul either. During dinnertime, he was telling me things that Geevi will test us on how to connect and setup right after he teaches us. And i went like, "NOOOOO", just that it's in slow motion.

And throughout the entire dinner, i was ranting to him about how freaked out i was and that i felt like running away for the last minute.

Things didn't sooth my fear when i saw Geevi teaching another 2 guys which are in the time slot in front of mine. It seems so hard. I was literally shaking and were so so stressed up.

Yep. This is Geevi (or however his name is supposed to be spelt as. :X) The hi hat for the drum got knocked by something, and he's fixing it.

Guess it was my turn soon and you could see MR.Shy Guy trying his very best to calm me down. (Actually you couldn't because he wasn't doing it.)

BUT ANYWAY!!!

We waited until around 6.15pm to see if the other 4 from my slots are coming (and NO, none came), and so i was the only one meddling with the equipment. (YAY for me. For i totally enjoyed it.)

The first question came and Geevi asked me what do i know about it. I lagged for 2 seconds before going on. *grins*

And after telling him everything i knew, he pointed out a few things i didn't say and he asked me what was it. Good thing Wei Yi had taught us some stuff beforehand so i could answer. Phew. *wipe brows*

Next, he asked me about the if the red side of the RCA cables is for the right or left side. He seriously caught me on that question. BUT it's said on the mixer itself, i pointed it out while answering and he went, "damn". *laughs*

Anyway, today was awesome. I don't want to say too much cause i might not end this blog if i start. But both MR.Shy Guy and i hung around in the room until 8 plus before both of us slowly float to CWP where we went home.

So let's just say, Sound Reinforcement was smashing!!!

I totally insist that isn't candid.

And no. There's no motherfucker, buzz light year stuff here. Absolutely NONE. *winks*

And yes, this is MR.Shy Guy if you're wondering who he is.

And yes. Thanks, MR.Shy Guy for accompanying me throughout the entire time from school ends to the end of Sound Reinforcement.

I guess i would be totally freaked out if i was alone the whole time. Trust me on that.

P/s: ZJ saw me today walking with GL for a short distance and thought i was flirting with GL. Omigosh, of all people, why would i choose GL? =/

And i told ZJ that i will only like seniors and he said that i have a fetish for old man. GRRS.

The only old men i like would be those who are super uber darn rich and are going to die soon. Then i make sure they will me most of their assets on his deathbed.

And pssstt, ZJ is actually someone who's trying very hard to cover up his pai-kia-ness with punk. Eyebrow stud, ear studs and lip stud just proved my point. :X

OMIGOSH, i'm so sorry. I totally didn't mean to say that. Please don't ask your brothers and beat the crap out of me. I'M SO SORRY!!!

*laughs* Alright, i was kidding. He's an awesome friend. Serious. *grins*

But anyway, speaking of seniors, i hearts Geevi's hair. He tied it up in a really nice way. Really really really nice. ("V")

And anyway, i was wondering, how come seniors need to shift the crossfader right and left when they're scratching. HMMM.

Updates: I can't believe i forgot to blog about this. While setting up and trying to ground the mixer, i totally couldn't screw the grounding wire. GAHS.

I literally spent minutes trying to put it there and screw it on.

And i guess Geevi thought that i really needed help and asked MR.Nice Guy to help me. But being so interested in all this equipment, how can i let someone else help me? *laughs*

So i asked if i could try even though i might be slow, and since there's no one from my slot there. (MR.Nice Guy went through this yesterday already.)

And after fifty seconds later, WOAH-LA!!! I'm done. *grins*

See, i love being the only one learning how to set up.

Up-updates: I just realized my error. Our senior is not called Geevi. Is Jeevi. And i'm lazy to correct it one by one.

So here is the correction.

It's Jeevi.
